The Club of Aeromodelos of Chile (CACH) was founded on August 30 1949, by a group of officers and non-commissioned officers of the Chilean Air Force, along with civilians who shared a passion for scaled aircraft models.Over time, the club expanded its objectives to include other forms of dynamic modeling, incorporating helicopters, cars, gliders, and radio-controlled boats. More recently, the statutes were modified to encompass other sports, recreational activities, and hobbies in general. This led to the creation of the karting branch and the air gun shooting range.

The circuit consists of four left hand and six right hand turns that are raced in a clockwise direction. The width is 16.5 to 20 feet / 5 to 6 meters wide. The straightaway length is 295 feet / 90 meters. The racing line circuit length is 1148 feet / 350 meters. The track has ample run off areas. The track record for the GT class is 21.988 by Flavio Elias from Brazil and for the 1:8 class is 18.369 by Thilo Diekmann from Germany. The track surface is made out of fine grade asphalt, very smooth and flat. It was resurfaced in October 2024. It’s prepared with sugar and water and maintained daily during the events.
The driver’s stand is a covered steel structure elevated 16’ / 4.8 meters from the ground. It has a length of 40’ / 12.2 meters which can comfortably hold up to 12 drivers. The access is granted by a two level staircase. A secondary ramp will be added to have a better flow of the drivers entering and exiting the rostrum.
The track has covered pit space with overhead lights that can accommodate more than 120 drivers. Electricity is available for every participant. Chile’s electrical grid operates at 220V. A dedicated cleaning area with multiple hoses with compressed air and cleaning body station is situated next to the pit area.
CACH counts with a very modern clubhouse. Here you can have a nice meal, relax with a drink or simply enjoy the sunset. An additional food stand will be situated close to the onroad track. Breakfast, Lunch, and Snacks will be served daily. You can find dedicated restrooms in the club house. For your convenience, additional porta potty restrooms will be situated close to the onroad track.
Our Timing and scoring booth is equipped with everything needed. Multiple brand new loops have been installed to guarantee the necessary redundancy. We use the Myrcm scoring software. You can check in realtime all the information over the internet app. We also have monitors situated in the pit lane and in the paddock for your convenience.
The standard electrical voltage in Chile is 220 volts (V) at a frequency of 50 Hertz (Hz). Chile uses both Type C and Type L power plugs and sockets.
The Chilean peso (CLP) is the national currency of Chile. Foreign exchange offices, or casas de cambio, are the most convenient way to exchange currency in Chile. Digital payment methods like Apple pay, Google Pay, electronics wallets as well as cards (debit and credit), are widely used.. Cash, while still used, is becoming less common, particularly in major cities.
